Pre-eclampsia is the most common medical complication of pregnancy associated with increased maternal mortality. The aim to evaluate heme oxygenase, leptin and coenzyme Q10 in pre-eclamptic women. 60 women were included in this study and classified into three groups each group contain 20 patients. The results showed that in pre-eclampatic group each of leptin, ferritin, iron, AST, ALT, creatinine, copper, Cu / Zn ratio, uric acid was significantly increased while COHb, coenzyme Q10, total iron binding capacity, zinc, bilirubin was significantly decreased. It is concluded that hemeoxygenase, leptin and coenzyme Q10 can consider as markers for early prediction of preeclampsia.
