Laurel Dean is author and writer of Henry's Pond. She has also written Aesops Refabled, a contemporary retelling of Aesops' stories and fables as well as a collected book of poetry. Her interests include nature and the environment. Jan Stamm is an artist and illustrator who focuses on animals and nature. Her oil paintings are included in Henry's pond.
