Robin Chappell is a third time published author with a passion for writing and eccentric creativity. Robin published her first book project, "Her Crowning Frenzy: A Collection of Short Poetic Stories", in April 2018; receiving up to fourteen positive reviews and recommendations. "A Man's World", was published shortly after in February 2019 and welcomed with equal praise and excitement. Robin was born in Fort Belvoir, VA and raised as a "military brat". Her father, Robert Chappell, served in the U.S. Army for twenty years, providing the opportunity for both her and her sibling, Robert, Jr., with the opportunity of traveling to many interesting destinations around the world; as well as contributing to her vast cultural background. Her mother Susan Chappell, motivated her love for reading books and writing stories at the early age of three. Robin began writing poetry and winning competitions in school at the tender age of thirteen. This also contributed towards her dedication to literature and creating a growing excitement for reading within others. Once she turned nineteen, she followed in her father's footsteps and enlisted into the Army National Guard. She served her country for seven years and deployed to Tikrit, Iraq in 2010, and received numerous medals and honors for assisting with Operation Iraqi Freedom. She now raises a beautiful daughter and son, Harmony Grace and Corey Alan Jr., alongside her loving and supportive husband Corey Alan Sr. Robin also hosts a podcast, "The Art of Transformation", as well as serving her community with her nonprofit organization Harmonious Grace, Incorporated; which focuses on battling illiteracy, hosting book fairs for public schools, and providing counseling to men and women whom have undergone sexual trauma. Robin is also a motivational speaker and CEO of her own publishing company, Write Away Publishing, LLC., which she has dedicated to promoting and bringing more awareness to Black literature.
