Autorenporträt
Lisa Ganora began studying traditional Western herbalism in the early '80s. After practicing as a community herbalist for a decade, she retuned to UNCA and graduated summa cum laude with multiple awards in biology and chemistry. After graduation Lisa focused on studying herbal constituents (pharmacognosy and phytochemistry). In 2012 she founded the Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism, served as director until 2020, and remains on the faculty. Currently, Lisa directs Elderberry's Farm, a Rocky Mountain herbal education center in Paonia, CO (https://www.elderberrysfarm.com/). Lisa formerly served as Adjunct Professor of Pharmacognosy at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, and continues to lecture and teach classes at numerous schools and conferences. Lisa also teaches a comprehensive distance learning course on herbal constituents via Herbal Medics Academy, and formulates for the dietary supplements industry.
