It can be taken anytime and is also rich in vitamins and minerals. It is a herbal extrudate made up of different herbs. The herbs were selected on the basis of availability which includes spinach, turmeric, ginger, liquorice etc. The extrudates contain equal amounts of herbs. A moist mixture is prepared using suitable vehicle (water). The moist mixture upon passing through an extruder forms extrudates which are then dried and packed. The extrudates were studied for their physico-chemical properties.
