Chronic infection with hepatitis B virus (HBV) is a major health problem worldwide, affecting approximately 350 million people, and is the leading cause of chronic liver disease, cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), accounting for over 1 million deaths annually. In this book I summarized recent approaches of chronic hepatitis B (CHB) virus management and update treatment pattern. Last few decades CHB becomes major cause of death worldwide and vital cause of chronic liver disease, hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), cirrhosis and 1 million deaths per annum. At present, very limited number of treatment and management patterns are available to CHB. Recently, several studies demonstrated effective treatment and management of CHB. In this book I mentioned safety, management, diagnostic test and recent scientific advanced of systematic monitoring of CHB patients and postponing disease advancement to major liver cirrhosis is immediately desired.
