Sherrika Myers is a dynamic visionary with a heart for children in her community and across the world. She graduated from North Charleston S.C. Public School System and received her associate degree in Business/ Marketing from Trident Technical College. She is a Certified Life Coach, an ET National Speaker, the founder of Every 1 Voice Inc. As a children's book author, she is the creator of the Lil Herbie Series featuring Lil Herbie the anti-bullying mascot.For Myers herself, school was no easy feat. She grew up stuttering and was constantly ridiculed by her peers. Now she diligently works with children who stutter, are bullied, have low self-esteem, or lack self-confidence, helping to improve their quality of life by breaking down communicative and social barriers. She speaks to thousands of elementary students through interactive school assemblies and educational presentations that are infused with transparency, real conversations, and easy-to-implement principles to help prepare students to exhibit positive habits and practices that will transfer to their middle school years. Her goal is to inspire and empower kids to become the best version of themselves through her many social and educational initiatives.Myers and her programs have been featured on CBS, NBC, FOX, Black News Channel, PBS Kids, New York Weekly, and US News. She was named one of NY Weekly's top 10 female entrepreneurs of 2020, received the Southeastern Chamber of Commerce Community Education Award in 2020, was a Ubora Innovator of the Year finalist in 2021 for her Lil Herbie Series, and received the 2021 Iota Phi Lambda Sorority Inc. Kappa Society of Living Makers of Black History Award. Former Congressman Joe Cunningham acknowledged her great efforts and program. Sherrikka Myers is a life coach, a national speaker, the founder of Every 1 Voice Matters, the creator of Lil Herbie the Anti-Bullying Mascot and the Lil Herbie Series, and co-author of Herbie's New Home. She is married with kids and grandkids.
