Not only are there maps and directions, but information is included on what other things are provided on site - many railways have museums, shops and cafes, and most have toilets and parking facilities (although not necessarily at every station). Additional facilities for disabled visitors are listed, and information is provided on travelling with your dog or a bicycle, baby buggy or wheelchair. Each entry also includes a short history of the railway, together with a note of the length of the journey.
