¿nci Oya Co¿kun is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Tourism, Anadolu University, Turkey. Her research focuses on the macroeconomic effects of tourism and determinants of tourism demand, and she is also interested in tour planning, global distribution systems, and cultural heritage. Alan A. Lew is a Professor at the Department of Geography, Planning, and Recreation at Northern Arizona University, USA, where he teaches courses in geography, urban planning, and tourism. He is the founding Editor-in-Chief of the Tourism Geographies journal. His interests and publications focus on tourism across East and Southeast Asia.  Norain Othman is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Hotel and Tourism Management, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia. Her research focuses on tourism management, tourism marketing, event management, heritage tourism, and Islamic tourism. Gökçe Yüksek is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Tourism, Anadolu University, Turkey. Her research mainly focuses on destination management, tourism transportation, tourism marketing and management, and quality management. Semra Günay Aktä is a Professor at the Faculty of Tourism, Anadolu University, Turkey. Her research focuses on various aspects of geography, geographical information systems (GIS), and cultural and natural heritage, with a special interest in tourism geography. She teaches courses on tourism geography and sustainable planning.
