Carbon monoxide is one of the major chemical building blocks belonging to C1 chemicals. CO is superior in activity from other C1 sources like methane, methanol, formic acid and carbon dioxide to convert into higher value added products. Hydroformylation and hydroaminomethylation are two of such reactions that uses CO for conversion into aldehydes and amines respectively. These finds applications in polymers, plasticisers, drug intermediates etc. Heterogenization by anchoring or encapsulation of homogeneous catalyst on to a solid support enhances the recycling power of the catalyst. Carbon monoxide is one of the major chemical building blocks belonging to C1 chemicals. This book deals with synthesis and characterization of different Rhodium complexes into various support and its activity for hydroformylation and hydroaminomethylation reactions. A detailed parametric variation, kinetic study, modelling and mass transfer phenomenon in support pores are also discussed.
