Humanity has never been more curious than now to get more insights and understanding of what has been considered the most complex of all the human organs ever is the "Brain". Humanity has never been more curious than now to get more insights and understanding of what has been considered the most complex of all the human organs ever is the "Brain". Many attempts have been made to understand and model the working of brain leading to the progress of neural networks simulation software packages such as NEURON and GENESIS which have been the de-facto neural simulators for some time now. Further investigations have found that the major limitation by using the afore-mentioned neural simulators is speed because neural network simulation process includes complex computations which do not foster the progress of scalable neural systems. Hence, there is a demand for quick re-enactment of neural network systems which led to the development of alternate strategies.
