He also enjoyed a stint in show business working as a background actor in various motion pictures and television programs. He is an avid amateur historian with a particular passion for World War II. Cruz actively participates in Community Theater, channeling his creativity and love for performance. Now retired, he devotes his time to his many interests. Cruz is single and makes his home in the greater New York metropolitan area.
