Louise Holland is an unabashed lover of all things fantasy, with bursting shelves full of books and those books full of complicated maps. She has played Dungeons & Dragons for many years and uses her table's adventures as inspiration for her works, although she tries to keep the shopping chapters to a minimum. She completed her first novel over three job changes, the back end of a pandemic, and an official adult ADHD diagnosis, cementing proof of her determination (and that there's no motivation quite like spite). She lists Brandon Sanderson and Robin Hobb as her main author influences and listens to a completely normal amount of Taylor Swift.
