Autorenporträt
Shantaley L. Foster-Bey was born in Jamaica Queens, New York, and raised in Hempstead, Long Island. She began writing in journals at age twelve, and her entries eventually transformed into poems. Shantaley earned a bachelor's degree in science while balancing life as a single mother. This is her first book.
