This study was undertaken with an objective-To perform a pharmacognostic study of Hibiscus tiliaceus and Hibiscus cannabinus Linn. plant parts. To standardize the extracts of using different physico-chemical parameters. Todevelop and evaluate the ointment formulation from the extracts. To determine analytical parameters related to the ointment in order to assess the quality, purity and safety data.
