Localized in the ears, keloid scars may have an aesthetic prejudice that could even become, in some cases, disabling, motivating patients to consult. These scars have no tendency to regress spontaneously. After surgery alone, the recurrence rate is in the order of 54 to 100% depending on the study. The addition of radiotherapy, in particular high dose rate brachytherapy, appears to be the most effective therapeutic option in terms of results and cost.We propose to describe the technique of high dose rate brachytherapy illustrated by a clinical case to report the experience of the radiotherapy department of the Salah Azaiez Institute.
