Ch. Satyanarayana is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Andhra Pradesh, India. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in 2007 from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. Dr. Satyanarayana has over 20 years of teaching and research experience. He has published over 130 research papers in journals of international and national repute. Few of his research innovations are at different stages of patenting as intellectual reserves. His research interests span image processing, speech recognition, pattern recognition, network security, big data analytics, and computational intelligence. Debasis Samanta is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. Professor Samanta is actively working in the field of human-computer interaction. He aims to develop efficient interaction mechanisms for people with special needs such as motor-impaired people and people with other disabilities, illiterate people, etc. He has developed a multi-modal interaction technique, text entry mechanisms in Indian languages, which are new of their kind to bridge the digital divide. Currently, he is working toward the development of next-generation hands-free and touch-free interaction mechanisms using brain-computer interfaces. He and his research team are developing a BCI-HCI lab in IIT Kharagpur, a unique lab facility in India. He is an author of 3 books and over 60 journals, and 110 conference papers of international repute. Xiao-Zhi Gao received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from the Harbin Institute of Technology, China, in 1993 and 1996, respectively. He obtained his D.Sc. (Tech.) degree from the Helsinki University of Technology (now known as Aalto University), Finland in 1999. He is presently working as a professor of data science at the University of Eastern Finland, Finland. Prof. Gao has published over 400 technical papers in refereed journals and international conferences. His research interests are nature-inspired computing methods (e.g., neural networks, fuzzy logic, evolutionary computing, swarm intelligence, and artificial immune systems), optimization, data mining, machine learning, networking, control, signal processing, and industrial electronics. Rajiv Kumar Kapoor is a professor in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Delhi Technological University, Delhi. His research interests span vision/speech-based tracking, machine learning, activity recognition vision, speech-based signal processing, pattern recognition, and cognitive radio. He published around 70 research papers in reputed International and National Journals and published over 100 articles in various International and National conferences. Nine of his research innovations are at different stages of patenting as intellectual reserves, and 04 patents have already been awarded. He authored 07 books and completed 03 research projects. He has undertaken Industrial Research work worth 1.8 crores and other Research Consultancy worth 03 crores for various Research Organizations.
