It's 2010, and pirate attacks around the Horn of Africa are at their height. The West has yet to start sending naval escorts to protect the ships and freighters that ply the sea lanes along this dangerous coast. The US President is worried, though. He wants to protect US shipping. A Presidential 'Black' Executive Order is released, and a small contingent of US Navy SEALs are placed on key US ships traversing the area with orders to repel attackers at all costs. The use of extreme force is authorised as a final option, but these missions must be kept secret. The public won't accept the blatant murder of pirates so only ships where the captain and crew sign a secrecy agreement will be protected. Newly promoted Navy SEAL Lieutenant John Deacon leads a small team of dedicated warriors determined to stop the pirates in their tracks, but the pirates soon learn of the defenders and change tactics. Can Deacon and his team stop the pirates and protect the ships while keeping their mission secret?
Autorenporträt
Born in Bristol, England, I have always been an avid reader. Currently living in New Zealand, I've worked in Europe and travelled fairly extensively. I have written various sailing articles and had them published in magazines. Having lived and worked in the Middle East for a number of years, I believe I have a good understanding of the region. I used that experience to write my first full novel 'The Jaws of Revenge'. That was soon followed by my second novel, 'Terror of the Innocent', a third, a short story 'High Seas Hijack', and then my fourth, 'Crossing a Line'. All feature US Navy SEAL John Deacon and some of his colleagues in the Pentagon. The first two also feature his adversary, Saif the Palestinian - an ex-Navy traitor whose mission in life is to destroy the West and, in particular, the USA. The next in the John Deacon series, The Price of Deceit, has just been launched to great reviews. Go to my website - www.mikeboshier.com - for latest details and for freebies! The books I read are from great writers such as Andy McNab, David Baldacci, Brad Thor, Vince Flynn, Chris Ryan, etc. If you like adventure/thriller novels and like the same writers as I do, then try reading High Seas Hijack, The Jaws of Revenge, Terror of the Innocent., and Crossing a Line. You won't be disappointed! www.mikeboshier.com
