This book presents a novel synthetic protocol for fabrication of High-valent Manganese Nanoparticle and its application for in-situ generation of Nitrile Oxides and their 1,3-DC to synthesize isooxazoline and isoxazole moiety from very sensitive carbohydrate precursors. Low reaction time, simplicity and necessity of small amounts of metal oxidant are some of the other features of this synthetic strategy.

Dr. Yasmin Saima, Associate Professor and HoD at Vivekananda College, Madhyamgram. She did her graduation and post-graduation in Chemistry from Jadavpur University. She obtained Ph.D degree from Calcutta University. Her research interest includes stereoselective synthesis of carbohydrate derivatives.
