This research paper reflects the academic standard of private and public higher education institutions of TU, Nepal. Finding of the study depicts, the graduation rate of TU is less than 50%.Graduation rate of the public institutions under TU is even less.This failure rate certainly arises question mark in the academic standard of Nepal. As such, this research paper attempts to sought out reasons behind it. Moreover, for those who are keenly interested to know about student involvement in professional field, bureaucracy and research work, physical facility and quality human resources of TU and its constituent campuses, this paper is of immense use.
