The plot of the story is how his success is based on the women in his life, and the way a "highway" is the thread that holds it all together. His adventures take him to numerous places including Cuba, which results in him becoming an unwilling "pawn" for the CIA. The secondary theme is how my main character grows up in the "Old South" but becomes part of the "New South."
