Rick Astle is passionate about teaching Christians how to pray Biblically and powerfully. He has previously ministered as a local pastor and as a mission's director and currently is the President of Rick Astle Ministries, Inc. Rick has conducted prayer ministries in Haiti, Africa, and in over 30 U.S. states, and has published five Christian books related to prayer, overcoming temptation, and God's will for our lives. Born and raised in Oklahoma, Rick was saved as a high school student after his parents moved to Louisville, Kentucky. He is a graduate of The University of Kentucky and of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Rick and his wife currently reside in Lumberton, North Carolina. RICK ASTLE MINISTRIES is devoted to equipping and encouraging the local church to prepare and to pray for spiritual awakening. This nationwide ministry comes alongside the local church by providing Biblical teaching and books on a variety of prayer-related topics.
