In the early 1970s, DANIEL SANCHEZ took on the hobby of stamp collecting, a pastime he continues to enjoy to this day. It is a hobby he is so passionate about that it eventually shaped the idea of writing and publishing this book. He owns various collections of postal United States stamps including Hispanic-Americans, African-Americans, Native-Americans, and one dedicated to women who have been featured on U.S. stamps.
