Author of the successful books: "Un Doctor Por Favor" and "Hispanic Role Models in Science," Dr. Mina-Osorio is an immigrant physician specializing in Immunology. As a proud Latina, she mentors Hispanic/Latinx students interested in careers in science and medicine. She is also the founder of Science Education Online. This organization creates educational content for English as a second language (ESL) students. It also raises awareness of the lack of Hispanic physicians in the U.S. by publishing books about Hispanics in medicine and science. Her work can be found on social media @undoctorporfavor
