INTRODUCTIONThere are different types of co-infections that affect HIV+ patients among one of those are fungal diseases.OBJECTIVETo calculate the prevalence of Histoplasmosis and Cryptococcosis in patients with HIV + and the concurrent infection that exists between these coinfections in the Hospital de Infectología Dr. José Daniel Rodríguez Maridueña.POPULATIONIn the study we selected 619 patients from the Hospital de Infectología de Guayaquil METHOD. The research is a descriptive study of observational analysis and according to data collection it is a retrospective-cross-sectional study.
