This book tells about the early centuries of Christianity. The book begins with a narrative about the historical and social conditions of the emergence of Christianity as a world religion. It tells about Jesus Christ, the 12 apostles , the 70 apostles, their travels and preaching activities, the Apostle Paul and his teachings. The story goes on to describe the persecution of Christians and the establishment of Christianity as the state religion of the Roman Empire. The narrative reaches the middle of the 11th century, when insurmountable internal political contradictions between the Western and Eastern Churches led to the great schism.
