Autorenporträt
Georg E. Schäfer works as computer specialist since the 1970s. He got insight into the technology of all computer manufacturers and many software companies. Starting as computer specialist, he retired as senior manager of a large ICT user with about 240.000 employees. Der Autor hat mehere Büchern veröffentlicht, etwa Romane wie "Glück fließt zu denen, die lieben können" und Fachbücher etwa über Mythen, über Digitaltisierung und eine sehr nachgefragte und in Englisch geschriebene "History of Computer Science" sowie begleitend zu Vorlesungen an der Universität Mannheim ein Werk über die weitergehende Beteiligung der Bürger an der Politik (Open Government und Open Government Data). Zwei Bücher von Doris Löffler hat Georg E. Schäfer herausgegeben, um den Erzählschatz dieser Geschichtenerzählerin zu verbreiten.
