Los autores, el Dr. E. Nagib, el Dr. T. Harb y el Dr. A. Kossaify, son médicos que trabajan en el Hospital Universitario Notre Dame des Secours, en Biblos, Líbano; además, participan en la enseñanza y la educación en la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad del Espíritu Santo de Kaslik (USEK), Líbano; también tienen varias y variadas experiencias en investigación médica.
