Dr Kayode Momodu is an academic historian. He has brought his knowledge to bear on the collection of material and interpretation of the sources in putting this book together. He employed oral and written sources in writing this book. Dr Kayode Momodu is also the author of Nigeria and the International Labour Organisation 1945-1993.
