A classically trained musician since the age of eight, Russell Buddy Helm has toured and recorded with many great acts: Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Tim Buckley, Frank Zappa, Mike Bloomfield, Allman Brothers, Big Joe Turner, Bethlehem Asylum, Kinkie Friedman, and many others. Also Film and Television production with George Lucas as writer of the Star Wars Comic Strips, Polaroid Commercials with Jim Garner, soundtracks for Ron Howard and others. Then Post Production Supervisor at Lorimar for Dallas, Knotts Landing, Hunter, Falconcrest and others. He has focused on developing a healing drum therapy that he teaches in Santa Monica, California, across the US, Japan and Australia.
