The book addresses the following issues: 100 years ago in Russia (1920-2020); honoring the fire; "Spaniard"; Gilyan Soviet Republic; Orenburg - the capital of the Kyrgyz (Kazakh) ASSR; Basmachi; Friedrich Engels, 200 years since his birth. Foreign military intervention and civil war prevented the implementation of a grand plan to create the material and production base of socialism. The young Soviet republic had to defend its existence. As a result of the First World War, which lasted 4 years, and the three-year civil war of 1918-1920 the country was ruined. The majority of factories and plants stood, mines and mines were destroyed; the production of large industry in 1920 was almost 7 times less than pre-war; transport was in a catastrophic state. Agriculture provided no more than half of the meagre pre-war production. The destroyed economy had to be restored, and industry, transport and agriculture had to be brought in order.
