Discussion regarding significant predictors of health inequity, including discrimination, medical mistrust, and stigma, specifically homophobia and transphobia, are included. The book also reviews the impact of significant advances in HIV prevention, such as pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), within Black and Latino communities.
