HIV/AIDS has been a growing public health problem in Malaysia for over three decades. To curb the spread of HIV/AIDS and to increase public awareness regarding the disease, numerous initiatives have been developed by various stakeholders. This book features the role of print media in circulating social marketing messages and programmes on HIV/AIDS to the public, the public's perceptions of the deadly disease as well as the roles of government, non-governmental organisations and media institutions in responding to the issues of HIV/AIDS in Malaysia.
