Autor

Maria was born and raised in NY, but is currently living in VA (because it's warmer) with her husband and their son. Maria is a collector of education, starting with a triple major in college from the business and economics department and continuing with several certifications. She receives between 60 and 80 credits per year and is greedy for more. When she's not learning, she's teaching and has been speaking on a variety of subjects nationwide for the last five and a half years.Maria is a Volunteer In Police Service. As a VIPS she drives a canteen truck for DWI checkpoints and other events such as search and rescue and barricade events. She role plays with the Criminal Justice Academy for the cadets as well as tactical training for current Officers. As an Organizer Maria works with Code Compliance and Fire Marshals to assist citizens who are hoarding get up to code and pass inspection. She recently taught an ICD teleclass for other Professional Organizers on how to interact with Government Agencies. Over the years she has taught about Hoarding Disorder at the CJA as well as at the FBI in Quantico.
