This is the seventh novel in the Detective Inspector Stone supernatural crime series. The stories are all set in the county of Lancashire in the United Kingdom. An area that is famous for its long tradition and history of witchcraft. They all involve (to a greater or lesser degree) the descendants of the original Lancashire Witches from 1612.
