Daniel Townsend has been writing books for years. He has always has a tender heart for animals. As a boy his parents allowed him to have a small dog that called, Pal. As a grown man he and his family were transferred quite a bit and owning a dog was a problem. After a heart operation, he had to be at home almost two years, and he purchased a female "Red" dachshund named Sophi, and 5 months later, a boy dachshund. Greyson was the male dog and he was a dapple or mix color, black & white. Grey grew into Daniel's special friend sleeping with Daniel every night for 17 years. He had lots of tricks, and special ways of earning everyone's heart.Although Daniel had graduated from Wake Forest University and had completed a successful career, he had more time With Greyson and Sophi so there was a real love affair at the Townsend home. They would play inside and out and the two dogs became house dogs that went for a walk daily. Daniel enjoyed sports, writing, gardening, and photography.
