Blake Harris is a writer/director and make-believer whose work has been featured worldwide on such platforms as Disney+, Netflix, Amazon, Showtime, and AMC Theatres. The ambitious indie re-imagining of THE LITTLE MERMAID starring Academy Award Winner Shirley MacLaine debuted on Netflix and quickly entered into the popular and trending categories of the platform. The trailer was viewed over 40 million times, leading to the film opening number 3 in Mexico cinemas. Developing original and branded IP and content for companies like Warner Animation Group, Cartoon Network, Hasbro, Star Wars (International), RandomHouse Publishing, and Little Golden Books, he has experience working with top talent and brands from across the world. He recently co-wrote the story for Disney’ s Halloween-themed hit Hocus Pocus 2, which debuted as the most watched streaming movie premiere ever. Blake maintains a unique slate of original high-concept heartfelt properties in the kids/family space. His first animated short will announce this year.
