The first part of this paper focuses on the description of a number of globalization processes by analyzing a music video, as well as explaining how the majority of national film industries, including Europe's, were marginalized by Hollywood's imperialistic ambitions throughout the better part of the 90s. This, in turn, brought about the world's response to Hollywood's attempt to monopolize the film market as a massive anti-Hollywood cultural movement began.
