Corinne Cole Pert has spent her life teaching, playing, and learning with children, often along the shores of Salt Pond in Sedgwick, Maine. She is an avid outdoorswoman, scuba diving, hiking, and backpacking with her family, her camera always at the ready. Her scuba diving experience and the lobstering adventures of her husband and son in Blue Hill Bay have inspired Homar's Journey, her first book for children. She lives with her husband, Dan, three dachshunds, two Nigerian Dwarf goats, and two Fainting goats on the side of the mountain in Blue Hill, Maine.
