The volume of untreated animal waste generated and without correct destination, has been degrading and causing damage to the environment, one of the forms of treatment according to the sanitary aspects is the use of digesters. The biodigester is an equipment used for the production of biogas and biofertilizer, through animal waste or food waste, this process is done from the decomposition of organic matter by anaerobic bacteria. This book is a study carried out in the rural zone of the municipality of Aurora/CE, with the objective of analysing the economic and financial viability of the implantation and operation of a home biodigester from the use of bovine waste, through the analysis of the viability of the place where the biodigester can be implanted, the choice of the model of biodigester and of the organic matter to be used, with a view to an operational and financial analysis of the system. According to the results presented, it was concluded that the use of the biodigester on rural properties is a viable solution from the economic and environmental point of view and acceptable for the producer to develop within the sustainable universe.
