Their accounts illustrate how courage, faith, hope and healthy doses of good humour have helped them on their journey. to overcome obstacles and anxiety. These are compelling narratives that will bring encouragement to those who face similar burdens, and to anyone else, admiration at their gutsy resolve to not be beaten by a life-changing event.Hinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.
Eugene is a retired engineer, having spent 31 years with the RAAF and 10 years with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority, covering all aspects of aircraft engineering. He has an interest in military history and is a volunteer guide at the Australian War Memorial. He led a relatively active life, walking to work, walking the family dog and helping Helen in the garden - until a catastrophic accident while on holidays in England left him as a paraplegic. He can still pursue other interests, such as cooking and church activities, but life has changed dramatically. During his service with the RAAF, Helen and Eugene lived in many homes with their three children, now all adult with eight grandchildren, but have lived in the same family home in inner Canberra for 29 years.
