Jim H. Ainsworth is the award-winning author of fifteen books. After writing four books in the financial services field, Jim retraced his ancestors' trip across Texas by covered wagon and horseback. The trip inspired a memoir, which led to ten novels, a story collection, a book about faith, and many newspaper, magazine, and blog articles and stories. He grew up on hardscrabble farms in Northeast Texas and the Panhandle. Hehas been an accountant, financial planner, stockbroker, team roper, and owner of a western wear and tack store. He writes based on his experiences. Always a wannabe cowboy, he still lives in the country with wife, Jan, and horse, Shooter. He enjoys hearing from readers.
