The human life experience is a forceful incursion into a hostile physical world. In this world, we must identify opportunities to support and threats that might hamper our ongoing quest to physically survive and pursue our elusive goal of being happy. Our life story unfolds around two fundamental lines of questioning to become the source of all our longing and wonderment in our journey of spiritual self-discovery. As it unfolds, our every thought and action no matter how coarse or misguided is driven by our core primitive impulse to understand the great mystery of our existence. The first of these fundamental questions evolves out of the hostile physical environment around us in the form of these how, when, and where questions that cannot be ignored because initially our survival depends on them. At minimum, our survival requires a rudimentary understanding of the nature of the reality that surrounds us to effectively engage this challenging, complex physical reality That understanding becomes for each of us our conceptual All-That-Is that guides us the course of our life affairs. We each individually maintain a conceptual All-That-Is that varies widely in rigor and extent in response to our particular life challenges. We approach that understanding of what is going around us based on our discretion and ability, . It is a formidable mystery that is very difficult to comprehensively understand, but the gaps in that understanding leave us vulnerable to external manipulation. Most only pursue only the bare essentials required to conduct the immediate affairs of their lives, but a more comprehensive, and satisfying understanding is possible for those few who dare to try. This book describes a conceptual model All-That-Is that is a comprehensive consideration of everything that exists around a given human conscious experience. It elaborates the details and interaction of this conscious entity with the surrounding reality into which we find ourselves embedded. In the course of this discussion of the All-That-Is, many longstanding mysteries will be explained in the dual context of Eastern philosophy and Western science. This book describes the revelation of how this All-That-Is revealed itself to me during my homegrown enlightenment experimentation.
