A beautiful single woman Mary Ann decides to volunteer at a Homeless Center in Chicago. She works at an ad agency but wants to do something significant with the little free time she has. At the center, she meets a Homeless Man Edward that intrigues her. The curious man who actually doesn't appear homeless is headed to the library to discuss ancient history with one of the librarians in ancient languages. At one time a journalist, Mary Ann decides to find out more about this man so she travels to the library to talk with the librarian. The librarian relates that the man is probably a genius as she saw him writing very complex mathematical formulas on one of the library computers. He is also a brilliant violin player. She subsequently finds out that Edward is actually Isaac considered by many to be one of the greatest minds on Earth who has allegedly developed a device that transports people and objects through hyperspace to the planets of the solar system. He also has developed extremely advanced weapons to protect his device. The military wants Edward to develop more weapons and keep the weapons that they have of his working. Edward does not wish to do this so he is hiding in plain site as a homeless man. Meanwhile, Mary Ann is developing a romantic relationship with Edward. As the military relentlessly pursues them Mary Ann and Edward flee. Edward's ties to an alien race of which he is not aware unveil a secret fate in store for the Earth. I took creative writing courses at Brown and for many years I wrote occasional poetry, but did not publish it. I also obtained a law degree from Kent/IIT and a Masters in Child Study at Tufts. I worked as Public Affairs Executive at Pepsi. Then in 2010, I decided to write a book. The Rise of the Human Androids, which I published.. A sequel to the book, The Rise of the Human Androids, Galactic War was published in 2014. My first child fantasy book Elysia was published in 2011 and republished in 2012 as a second edition and won a Gold Seal Award from Trafford. The sequel Elysia Magic World was published in 2014. With a long time involvement in politics, I currently serve as an Alderman in Des Plaines, I published the two part Legislative Dance, the first being State Legislative Minuet and the second being Menage a Trois Reel. I returned to writing child fiction with the Magic Keys of Tanglewood in 2015, which also won a Gold Seal Award, and the sequel Magic Keys of Tanglewood Summer Camp in 2016. Finally, I put all my various short stories and Novella's into a collection Short Stories and Novellas from the Ordinary to the Extraordinary published in 2013. The Homeless Man is my 10th book.
