KARLA K. MORTON, a Fort Worth native, now of Denton, has had her work published in esteemed literary journals, electronic and print. Morton's work has appeared in such publications as Amarillo Boy, REAL, descant, Langdon Review, New Texas, Illya's Honey, Borderlands, and Southwestern American Literature. Morton was elected 2010 Texas Poet Laureate by the Texas Legislature and published New and Selected Poems with TCU Press as their seventh book in the Texas Poet Laureate Series.
