This is a children's story about Us through the eyes of a jar of honey and a beautiful peace lily. This is part of the Ode to We project where we transcend beyond me or you to the "us" of things. This deals with questions of heaven and origin through the personalities of honey, literally a jar of honey, and lily, a peace lily. They get to know each other and, if we notice, during their conversation, there is a little bee that brings them both together. Hint: The bee is kind of the point of the whole thing. This story is dedicated to all those moments where we meet new people and find ways to relate to each other, to connect, and, maybe, to love in ordinary ways that maybe no one will ever witness. Luckily, we get to be witnesses of this interaction! Honey and Lily have given permission for the use of their story.
