The examine honey value chain and explore the better way through which linkage among different honey value chain actors is ensured in the district The data were conducted by primary and secondary data collected from different published and unpublished sources. The binary logit model was applied to estimate the effects of explanatory variables on marketing channel choices of honey producers. The results obtained from this analysis indicate that volume of honey produced, distance to the market, average price of honey 2014/2015, beekeeping experience, market information, and off-farm activities were found to be the most important significant variables influencing honey marketing channel choice of the district. The honey marketing costs were also measured using marketing margins complemented with analysis of costs and gross profits generated by different marketing channel actors indicating that producers were more profitable in the chain. There are two marketing channels choice of honey for producers. The first channel choice was the farmers themselves sell honey to consumers at their home or at local market with slight price difference.
