Two murders, and the museum heist of a painting by Japan's foremost artist, Katsushika Hokusai, draw Professor Markov inextricably into a web of peril, theft, murder- and a search for the lost Honjo Masamune.

Author Malcolm Mahr is a unique late bloomer, starting his writing career at age seventy. To date he has written seventeen books. Mahr served as an infantry officer during the Korean War and as a corporate CEO in the packaging industry. He lives is Vero Beach, Florida.
