Valencia Warren, the author of Hood Royal, is a young woman that grew up in a rough neighborhood on the south side of Atlanta, Georgia. Although she's seen a lot of crime and high profile violence she refused to be just another statistic. Going through a lot of up's and downs Valencia put her heart and soul into her writing and pushed forward into making it into a reality. Being the seventh child of eight, all Valencia ever dreamed of doing was getting her book published, becoming a successful author, and making her parents proud. Valencia has always put her best foot forward and making Hood Royal Were one of her Greatest success.
