Autorenporträt
About the AuthorFor a long time, I found the slogan "nobody rides for free" of the 1970s relatable, almost my motto. The more in tune I become with Jesus, I see "letting go and letting God" from the 1960s worldwide Holy Spirit Charismatic Movement more "right on!" as it pushes me forward to finding Him in the meaning of my life. And do you know what I found? That I am a prophetic manifestation of God's imagination, and Jesus has blessed me abundantly with healings, opportunities, and love. This collection of stories is a taste of my lessons as I entreated mountains of evil, brutality, betrayal, divorce, remarriage, grieving, loss, success, sweetness, love, faith, and endurance in day-to-day living with others. Each day I start new. Not anew, for anew is starting over. But new as in "this day is a brand new day! I am a child of God, baptized of water in Jesus and anointed in the fire of the Holy Spirit, making these the best choice I have ever made. I know where I am going; I also know to whom I am going. I do not walk this life alone; I walk with Jesus, for I am a seer seeing visions and dreams via the Holy Spirit and blessed to see with His spiritual eyes. I was born with the talents of an artist combined with the gift of seeing the supernatural sides of life. I paint and write about the prophetic visions I am shown by the Holy Spirit when I pray. Together, we exhale works of these visions and dreams from inhaling God's grace. I write their stories as symbols of hope as a road map back to Him. I am delighted to "Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy." 1 Corinthians 14:1.I am a wife who chose well the second time. Three decades and more later, he still makes my heart happy. Are we perfect? For each other, yes. I am a mom of two and grateful they were born. I am very proud of them as they grew up to be independent strivers rather than survivors. The effects of some of my choices caused their life to be a lot harder, initially, but God saw us through, and yet without those choices, I would not have them. I once told my daughter, "I am so sorry that I either over-watered you or under-watered you. The fact that I had water at all was by the grace of God." In her mercy, she replied, "You water me just enough so that I was able to find water on my own." And indeed she did! I am a grandmother of seven, some of whom are willing participants in my stories, but all are treasures in my heart. Yes, I still would have chosen my children first. Leaving the room on a high note... none of these secret are really secrets. The more you walk with Jesus, the more you know. Thank you for walking with me on my path. I am grateful that I can share how I got back to my start and moved forward. Be blessed and until the other side then. ~Denise Rand Dahlheimer
